My boss wants me to work on a CNY Saturday when she said previously none of us need to go over.
What? I don't look Chinese to you or I don't seem to celebrate CNY?
FYI, we don't get extra pay. Not even voluntary day off - you have to ask for it!

And there she was saying she would stay if her event is the day before.
Wow, very noble and committed to your work indeed.
Why not stay for 2 days then?
What's another day if CNY and/or a Saturday doesn't seem important to you?
If it does and you are making your staff sacrifice, what kind of boss are you?
I can only think of selfish.
In the first place, you jolly well know that your event is NEVER on a Friday.
So don't give me such crap.
There's no IF.

She better not bring it up next week because I do celebrate CNY and she has no right to take away my joy!
